Cancellation Before 24 Hours of the Selected Delivery Time Slot:
- Bank Account Refund: If you cancel more than 24 hours before the selected delivery slot, 5% of the order value will be deducted as a cancellation charge. The remaining 95% will be refunded to your bank account.
- Cakebite Wallet Refund: You can opt for a 100% refund to your Cakebite wallet, with no cancellation charges applied.

Cancellation Between 12 to 24 Hours of the Selected Delivery Time Slot:
- Bank Account Refund: For cancellations made 12 to 24 hours before the delivery time slot, 10% of the order value will be deducted. The remaining 90% will be refunded to your bank account.
- Cakebite Wallet Refund: You may choose a 100% refund to your Cakebite wallet, with no cancellation charges.

Cancellation Within 12 Hours of the Selected Delivery Time Slot:
- Bank Account or Cakebite Wallet: If a cancellation request is made within 12 hours of the delivery time slot, 100% of the order value will be deducted as a cancellation charge. No refund will be issued to either your bank account or Cakebite wallet.
Discretionary Refunds
In certain situations, such as unfortunate events, natural calamities, or other unavoidable circumstances, refunds may be processed at the discretion of the company. However, refunds are not an entitlement and cannot be claimed as a matter of right under these conditions.
Non-Cancellable Orders
The following orders are not eligible for cancellation:
- Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed and scheduled for same-day delivery cannot be canceled.
- Same-Day Midnight Orders: Cancellation requests for same-day midnight delivery will not be accepted.
- Special Days: Orders placed for special days like Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Refund Policy
At Cakebite, we are committed to ensuring a pleasant experience with every order. However, if a refund is required, our policy ensures that refunds are processed transparently and fairly.

- Damaged or Defective Products: If the products delivered are damaged or defective, please contact our customer support immediately with photographic evidence. Upon verification, we will offer a replacement or a full refund to your bank account or Cakebite wallet.
- Incorrect Items: If you receive an incorrect product, notify us within 24 hours of delivery, and we will either arrange a replacement or issue a full refund to your bank account or Cakebite wallet.

Delivery Issues:
- Missed Delivery: If we are unable to deliver your order due to our error and rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a full refund to your bank account or Cakebite wallet.
- Late Delivery: If your order is delivered later than our Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 5 days (excluding same-day delivery), you may request a full refund.
Refund Process
- Refund to Bank Account: Refunds to your bank account will typically be processed within 7-10 business days after approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase.
- Refund to Cakebite Wallet: Refunds to the Cakebite wallet are usually processed within 2-3 business days and can be used for future purchases.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
- Cancellation Requests Outside Allowed Timeframes: Orders canceled outside the permitted cancellation windows are not eligible for refunds.
- Non-Cancellable Orders: As mentioned in our cancellation policy, orders placed for same-day delivery or special days are non-refundable.
- Customer Negligence: If issues arise due to customer negligence (e.g., incorrect delivery information), refunds will not be provided.
Discretionary Refunds
Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases at the company’s discretion, depending on the circumstances (e.g., natural calamities or unavoidable events). However, customers are not entitled to claim a refund under such conditions as a matter of right.
